A free, temporary, coach service for Campus staff
CBC Staff Shuttle
There are two new routes, which will operate in peak times, Monday – Friday, from Monday 2nd February: the CBC01 service will connect the Campus to Cambridge Train Station whilst the CBC02 will make journeys to and from the Trumpington Park and Ride.
The provision of Campus Staff Shuttles is expected to run until 26th June 2026, when we expect a reduction in the disruptions from the works on the Busway services and the imminent opening of Cambridge South Train Station.
Change of timetable from 7th April 2026
Since CBC Ltd launched the temporary Campus Staff Shuttle service in February, we’ve seen thousands of people use the coaches to get to and from the Campus, alleviating pressures on local bus services and roads. However, user data tells us that there is spare capacity across the services and we’re making some changes based on how the current shuttles are used.
The CBC01 coaches now run every 40 minutes between Trumpington park&ride and the Campus. Times for CBC01 remain the same.
We also added an earlier departure time in the afternoons and removing the last scheduled bus in the evenings.
